Career Sense is run by Mary Beary, a marketing, training and coaching professional with over 20 years business experience. Career Sense is a sister business to Mary’s People Sense (a coaching, training and small business marketing practice), and is specifically designed to meet the needs of those who are trying to build and develop careers and desired lifestyles in the current difficult economic times.
By combining her expertise in marketing, training and coaching, Mary is focusing on the application of all three of her disciplines to the area of helping people take responsibility for, and to manage their own careers.
Career Coaching is a relatively new discipline in Ireland, but Mary has already completed Advanced Training in Career Coaching in 2008 and she keeps abreast of international Career Coaching developments and strategies through her membership of the US based Career Coach Institute Mastermind Group.
‘But does she know what she is talking about?’
Yes, she does have the t-shirt! On three occasions in the last 10 years, Mary herself has been without employment – once as a result of her own decision to make a lifestyle change and returning to live in Ireland after many years living and working in Europe, and twice as a result of businesses closing down.
Mary has a very down-to-earth and practical style of training, and she carefully chose the description of workshops rather than training courses, as she expects participants to take ownership of their career transition and to have to ‘work’ on themselves during these workshop days.
